Sairung Suksamran
Sairung Suksamran comes from Chanthaburi. Her fans have known that she is an outstanding Thai cook for a quarter of a century. Since 2005 she has been conjuring up the dishes of her homeland on our plates in her own "Chanthaburi Restaurant Sairung" in Basel: Gung oob Wun Sen, black tiger shrimps cooked with glass noodles, ginger and bacon; Plaa Phaa, fish salad with peanut-garlic sauce with lemon grass, red chili and peppermint; Nua Phad Phrik Thai Onn, roasted beef hoof with young pepper, asparagus beans, bamboo shoots, garlic and chili. And many other delicacies more! Since then, her two sons and daughter-in-law have also joined the team. And the third generation is already ready to make sure that Chanthaburi stays in Basel!
