A region on the Gulf of Thailand rich in delicious fruits, fresh fishes & exquisite seafood, famous in the whole country for its delicate & refined cuisine. Sairung Suksamran comes from Chanthaburi. For more than 25 years she is well known & very much appreciated for her cooking skills by her fans in & around Basel. Since 2005 she performs all the magic of the original recipes of her origins in her “Chanthaburi Restaurant Sairung“ in Basel: Gung oob Wun Sen, Black Tiger shrimps with Chinese noodles, ginger & bacon, Plaa Phaa, fish salad on peanut-garlic-dressing with lemon grass, red chili & peppermint. Since then her two sons & her daughter-in-law joined the team. And the third generation is standing by already. So that Chanthaburi will remain in Basel.
